Week 7 - Intro to Facebook Strategy - Post 1


Here are the businesses I chose to "like as your page."

1. Muttropolis
Muttropolis is a local pet store with high-end merchandise. I would like to target some of their customers.

2. Unleashed Potential
I met Mary Kay Snyder, owner of Unleashed Potential at physical therapy.  She would often bring one of her service dogs in training with her and he was amazing. Since she is a local dog trainer, I am hoping to do a lot of networking with her.

3. AKC
To many people AKC is synonymous with quality.  Unfortunately that is not always the case. All it means is that the dog is purebred . It does not speak to the quality or health of the dog. Never-the-less, my dogs are purebred AKC Golden Retrievers and I would like that fact to work in my favor.

4. Chewy
First I love this company. Their prices are good and you can have those heavy bags of food delivered on autoship.  They post very regularly and I hope to comment regularly so my business name shows up in their feed. With close to half a million likes, it may help get my company's name out there.

5. Alcala Pet Resort
Alcala is one of the closest boarding facilities to me and they just happen to be newly owned by the couple who handle my dogs in dog shows.  Their rates are good and they board intact dogs, which is hard to handle.

6. Del Mar Beach
Where might you find dogs? At dog beach! One of my target markets is people who already have Goldens.  Del Mar Dog Beach is near our home (relatively).

7. TLCAD (Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs, non-profit)
I have donated a number of Golden Retriever puppies to TLCAD so they can be trained to be service dogs for autistic children and wounded veterans. Both causes are near and dear to my heart. I have a step-son on the autistic spectrum and a husband who is a retired SEAL. He has plenty of buddies who have benefited from their dogs. They often refer people to me for puppies.

8. Express Soccer, Attack Soccer, LA Galaxy FC 
I chose these 3 soccer teams because they are three teams near me. One of my target markets is Stay-at-Home-Moms. Many SAHMs are also "soccer moms" and bring their dogs to the soccer fields. It is sort of an experiment to see it I can get on some of the soccer moms feeds.
